Which is superior? IDX Pro W/mod or ACE 250?

I am thinking of getting an Ace 250 or the IDX Pro W/Mr.Bills mod.
I am not familiar with either one.
Can someone fill me in please?

Never used an Ace 250. But the IDX pro w mods is a serious machine. For coin hunting it is right up there with the contenders. Read some of the Posts by Monte. PM me if you want to talk about buying an IDX Classic SL w mods.

First, let me make it clear that I own and use a Garrett Ace 250 and keep a 4

The modified White's IDX Pro will outperform the ACE 250 in just about every way including quality of construction.

Mr Bill at Surf Scanners dot com does a great job of setting those detectors up for high performance.
