Which is deeper , Troy X-2 or Golden uMax ?

Its pretty much the same circuitry as the Silver, but was modified to Troy's specs, plus has an extra button. The 7" Coil, even is special and works wonders on all umax detectors.

I've owned one and wish I had it back. :( I have pulled IH and silver dimes at 11" with it. Its one deep little coin machine. The Golden is a great machine also but not as deep.

Can you buy the Troy coils, or only used ones available?

The Troy X2 'Super Seven' is only available "used"........they can be tough to find, and usually run between $70 & $80. If you can beat the other buyers to get one of these, it would be worth it!

Its the stock X-2 coil that makes it a deeper unit.....Many use the stock X-2 coil on various Tesoro units with good results...Not manufactured anymore but do show up now and then on classifieds and auctions....
