Which is better Quattro or GT and why?

I had a Sov for about 3 hours one time, bought it off E@@ and put it back in the box and put it back on E@@. At least I got my $$$$ Back on it. So, I don't know about depth between the two. The Safari is a updated version of the Quattro and either one would be better than the Sov as far as the nulling and flute music, plus you have a few more freq to help out, 28 vs 17. The Safari runs great in my high mineralized ground.............Mark

Got both.

with absolutely no doubts, the Sovereign has proven to me to be mor versatile, lighter and deeper than the Quattro.

Don't get me wrong, the Q isn't bad at all, just darn heavy and too...uh...automatic.

I like the disc better on the Sovereign, you can cherry pick deeper than with other detectors.

The reverse disc technique I learnt on this forum is deeper than my Quattro in any setting.

The battery pack system of the Sovereign is very efficient.
