Which is Better ??? Auto GB Question

rifleman

New member
The areas I hunt tend to be pretty full of trash. My question is, does the constant signals from the trash really allow the auto tracking GB to correctly ground balance or is it hampering the detectors ability to read the ground correctly. I tend to try and find a clear area, GB the detector and not turn on the auto tracking mode. I then check the GB about every 15 minutes. What are your thoughts about this?

Thanks, John K

If the ground is trashy I manually GB. If it's clean I hit auto trac. Pretty much the same as you do.
