Which headphones with XT-70?

I have a pair of Garrett headphones that I use with my X-Terra 70 and they are much better than the ones that came with the machine when I purchased it several years ago from Kellyco (Cx Custom's). They fit me pretty comfortably but do not block out very much background noise, which normally isn't a problem, because I'm usually in a pretty quiet place when I'm detecting. I feel like I hear what I need to hear with them but I wonder if that is just because I don't have a good comparable. Can anyone give me some feedback based on your experiences, as to whether or not I might justify a set of headphones that are a hundred dollars or more?
I realize that I am getting into a personal preference area asking for headphone recommendations but I would still like to hear your opinions and experiences trying different makes/models.

I have only used the Sun Ray Pro Golds and the Killer B's WASPS. Both work very well I prefer the Wasps, just IMHO, Beale.
