hi all was wondering what you r thoughts were on the garretts i am looking for a unit for my wife which is easy to run performs well ,has id on it.and good depth ... i use a quattro but didnt want to spend that much..looking for something in the mid to low mid range price any help you could give would be appreciated thanks don

Very light, has useable programs on it, gets great depth, has pinpointing, depth indicater and is 1/3 the price of the Quattro. There are lots posts on the Ace 250.....go back a couple of weeks. Good luck with whatever you buy!

Try the new Ace 250. Everyone has one including all us oldtimers. It's one hot little machine and a snap to learn and use. If you get one you may find yourself sneaking it out to hunt with.

Hey John I was going through a jar of my wheaties today that I've had forever and uncovered some steel cents and quite a few Canadian cents going back to 1932.
Also was going through a jar of about 300 old Jefferson nickles and found a couple of Buffalos in the mix and 18 WWII nickels. So I had my own treasure hunt and never left the house. Found some key wheaties also that are worth a few bucks each. Forgot I had this stuff.
