which detector

Lenny

Hi Tesoro fans. I have been detecting off and on for 20 plus years using detectors with screens that have VDI displays etc. They have been good for my type of detecting (coins & jewelry ) with good finds and a lot of fun . I am older now and I need something that has less weight thus Tesoro enters the picture. I have been looking at the Vaquero and the Outlaw. I do need a detector that has manual ground balance and the light weight factor . The ground around my area is slightly to heavy with mineral content . No beach or water detecting are in my plans and relics, well if the occasion comes up but not likely . So any thoughts on these two detectors for my type of detecting

Lenny,
They're both very, very good detectors.
The Vaq will be somewhat deeper, and somewhat more expensive.
The Outlaw is based on an older design that is still a great unit.
Both will work in iron trash better than most. Neither one will limit you.

Which every you choose, have fun.
:)
