If you had a choice between a Minelab Excal II or a White's Dual Field Pi, which one would you go for and why? I'm looking to buy one or the other, but it's hard to get a handle on which one.
Thanks in advance for the input/advice.

I love my Excalibur, so I would recommend it. It has found me more gold than the Excalibur cost, it is easy to use, and if you flush it in fresh water after every hunt you won't have any trouble with it. Good luck what ever you get :)

MINELAB QUALITY BETTER BUT HEAVIER
MINELAB COST MORE BUT EASIER TO RESELL
MINELAB HEADPHONES BETTER
TRY BOTH THEN DECIDE

I have the Excal II and a Garrett SH PI, I use the excal alot more because I can ignore the small pieces of iron. There is nothing like hunting in chest deep water and you get that low to mid low tone and you just know it's gold because of the smoothness of the signal, no other machine I'd rather use. I've had my Excal for 3 years and each year I more that pay for it again. At first I didn't like it because of the tones but after I got use to it, that is my go to machine when water hunting. Good luck. John

I had whites DF for 2 weeks, hated it, its PI you will dig everything.

Also the coil floats so you have to constantly push it down.

Excalibur II the way to go.
