Im going to get a detector for the water. It will be used 70% fresh water and the rest wet, dry sand. Would the cz21 do as well in fresh water as the tiger shark since the cz21 is in salt mode. Or is there another that may be a better choice. I have an mxt pro i use on land

i never used the cz21 but do u really want to use a PI like the sand shark in fresh water u will dig some much crap at least in salt water the metal will be eaten by the salt and i think the cz just like excal would do great in salt and fresh water

However I know what its telling me. Whatever you get take the time to LEARN it. A PI machine is NOT the best choice. WAY too much small iron.

The original post says "Tiger Shark" which is a VLF and a very good choice for fresh water lakes and sand as is the cz21. My choice would be the Tiger shark as it's lighter and less expensive. if I was hunting salt water then the cz would be my choice of the two mentioned. tomcatpl is the only one talking about the Sand Shark PI. He didn't read the first post correctly.
