Which CS small coil???? Sunray or Fisher

Mike Hillis

Well-known member
Anybody used both yet? Any differences between the two?

I had the Fisher one for a short time but never got to use it. Thinking about getting another one and wondering which would be the better one to get.

Which one has the best construction?

Does the hole in the middle make a difference?

Does one seem to work better on the machine than the other?

Thanks,

Mike

I have never compared the 2 side by side.....I was watching hoping someone qualified would answer your question. I can only vouch for the sunray coil, and have it on my C$ as we speak. (That may give the Sunray the "edge" so to speak being that it comes with that adaptor plug for 2 machines). The hole in the Fisher might be helpful for pinpointing, but who knows if that has any affect on depth?

but as I don't, the Fisher coil will probably be fine. I doubt the hole would have any effect on depth. Might snag easier in some places but thats probably the only draw back.
