Which coin are you more likely to find?

A two cent piece or a large cent. I say a two cent piece. In all my years detecting, I've only found one two cent piece, and have yet to find my first large cent. What do the rest of you think? HH, Doug

did a quick look see and about 45 million +- 2 centers and 160 million+- lg cents so Im within ratio on mine

Ive got a heck of a lot more large cents than 2 cent pieces.. probably a 10 to 1 ratio or more.. of course it depends on where your hunting..also if you hunt sites abandoned after 1860 you wont find any 2 centers, but will find large cents.. or for that matter if your site wasnt occupied before 1860 you would be more likely to find 2 centers than a large cent

With various detectors have found 8 large cents this year and one two cent piece....Large cent is much larger easier to detect many more made and comes in between a dime and quarter so is more likely to be dug than a 2 cent piece which usually
comes in zinc penny area.....So I guess you know my answer....

I see all three guys that answered are from the East. I wonder how midwestern guys would answer this question? How bout you Mike Moutray, what have you found more of? HH, Doug
