Which coil ?

Looking to get another coil for my
Cibola when hunting the "tot lots".

Which coil would you use?

The 5.75 concentric or widescan ?

I got the 5.75 concentric a few weeks ago for my DeLeon and love it. It does not seem like I am sacrificing any depth, and the ability to identify multiple targets in close proximity to each other is outstanding. The only thing with using it, is that you have to go a lot slower because of the size difference. My machine also feels so much lighter now!

5.75 concentric is the better choice IMHO.

For the tot lots, there is no camparison in my opinion: get the 5.75" coil. It gets you into tighter areas much better.

The 3x18 widescan is an excellent coil for covering large open areas like athletic fields or maybe even the beach.

But in an around playground equipment, grab the smaller coil every time.

I have the 5.75" Widescan for my Cibola and absolutely love it. I don't think you could go wrong with either coil. The 5.75" is perfect for those really trashy sites. Gets really good depth too. I haven't put the stock coil back on since I bought the 5.75". Happy hunting!!
