Which Coil would you choose???

I am looking to buy a smaller coil for my Classic II SL, and would like to know which one you would choose...
The Blue max 350, or the Hot Head 5.5" coil??? I have heard good things about both coils, but wanted some other opinions before making my purchase...

Thanks,

I would choose the blue max 350. I have one I use on the xlt.Hard to beat in a truly trashy area. Makes pin pointing and target separation ; a breeze..

5.5. Ferret Hot head coils and I like them both.

The problem you face, however, is that they will not work properly on a Classic II. The coils discussed will work on models that are designed to use the Blue max series of coils, and in the Classic series it would include the Classic III Plus, Classic III SL, Classic ID, Classic IDX and the IDX Pro.

Unless your Classic II gets a little bit of rework to the circuitry so as to be compatible with the Blue Max series of coils, you're pretty much stuck with the stock 8" as older, smaller coils are difficult to find.
