Which coil size for the Tiger Shark and why?

Habanero

Member
Hoping to get a tiger soon, just trying to sell an AT first for funds. Which size coil is best in y'alls opinion and why? Larger coil covers more ground and supposedly goes deeper but I've heard harder to swing and gb under water. Smaller coil less depth but more sensitive but do I really want to be digging bird shot? Users, please chime in, thank you!

Larger coils tend to hit better on larger objects buried deeper in the ground.

I would be more inclined to go with the 8" coil because it will give you plenty of depth and it makes pinpointing easier too.
