which coil?:ausflag:

i have the 10"x14" and the 8"mono.which coil is better suited for hunting on a beach both wet or dry.yesterday i tried out my new infinium on a local beach using the 8" mono on wet sand.my efforts produced six bottle caps, one hair clip and two bobby pins.the ear phones do not block out the wind and make it very difficult to hear a responce from a target.the voume on the phones was turned right up.turning up the threshold didn't help much either.the detector didn't need ground balancing ,it ran quiet.so what's the consensus of opinion everyone?bye for now, blowfly,hh

I like the 10x14, great for resent drops, deepees I have a little trouble Pinpoint yet, still a rookie..I did the Peltor fix for the Headphones, cuts out all the ocean noise
Just did some converting on the stock phones to the peltor earmuffs, better then the GG & BW's {22db rating on both, 27 on the peltors} you can hear the deepees......joe
