Which Coil-3x18 Wide Scan or 12x15 Butterfly

Was going to buy the Wide Scan Coil but seen Kellyco also has a 12x15 Butterfly Coil, now I am not sure which to buy. Will be using this on my Golden Umax for areas like parks-ball and soccer fields. I don't really relic hunt just mainly coin and jewelry.
THANKS
MIKE

The 3X18 widescan will be less affected by masking IMHO, not as deep, but I've found mine to be deep enough for what you describe. Even though I have no experience with the 12X15, I'm guessing the 3X18 may be lighter to swing.

I have large 15 inch coil for my other detector but i choose to use the 3x18 because i don't want deep targets when trying to cover large areas approx. 4 inch depth with 3x18 is plenty for the recent drops if good finds are produced in certain sections of a athletic field go back with a coil for more depth

I really meant the clean sweep coil, not the wide scan coil. I guess the 2 replies I received were actually referring to clean sweep. Sorry for the confusion.
THANKS
MIKE
