Which AT would you use ...

Here's the Scenario ... which detector would you buy.

You are strictly interested in looking for jewelry.
You never plan on using the detector on a salt water beach.
Only Freshwater

Would you buy the AT Pro or the AT Gold ?

Would you take the AT Gold because of the higher Frequency
Or would you take the AT Pro

Remeber, the assumption that you are not going to use it on salt water beach.

The AT Gold has preset Disc settings. Are those preset Disc settings on the AT Gold
going to knock out any of the jewelry (meaning you would have to hunt in all metal)

Thought this may be an interesting thread.

I would go with the AT Gold....because it has that true all metal mode which will give you a little more depth then the Pro. It was designed to find gold, ans a jewellery hunter loves to find gold jewellery. However, should you want to hunt salt water, the AT Pro would be my choice.
