I found it this morning at a "bare bones" beach where all the sand has been washed away by recent storms..
Found it is dry area..as well as the 1937 "wheatie".
Question: I'm thinking that this IH is Variety 2 because of what looks to me like nickel spots on the coin..and of course, the Oak wreath with shield.
Coin experts..would you kindly tell me if my assumption is correct on this one? Thanks
Also ..should I attempt to clean it to see if I can get a date and an Indian image?... Obverse looks like a lost cause, but the reverse is very clear.
Thanks for any advice you can give me regarding the Variety and if I should clean it ...I don't want to ruin it anymore than it is...maybe jmust electrolysis?
Do you think the Indian image would show up after electrolysis?
