Where to go when "WATER" detecting???

Prodigy

New member
So within the next week my tiger shark will be here. I live around a lot of lakes and want to know is there any unique places that can turn up finds outside of the beach and deep surf where people swim. I've heard unique ideas such as the high dive, boat ramps, and floating docks. Any more??? And water depth isn't a factor.

Hi Prodigy; Try from waist deep out to any floating platforms at the lakes beyond where the regular detectorists can't go due to no diving gear. that stretch is a real gold mine. They have to swim out to and back from the platforms and also lose stuff while jumping off them. Good Luck. PEACE:RON

Check with some of the local Oldtimers and find out were they hung when they were HotRods, their always willing to share some stories. Good Luck...joe

There is one at a lake i go to a lot we were planning on doing a tag team taking turns diving down without gear. And just stationing ourselves on a boat or the floating dock. The tough part is its roughly 12 foot but I have the best diver in school on my side so im rather optomistic.
