Where to find Ace pinpointing video?

robert roy

New member
Does anyone know where to find that Ace Pinpointing video. I thought it was on the garrett website.
One of our forum members was looking for it. I wrote garrett and they resonded by saying they don't HAVWE a video.
I must have lost part of my brain because I was sure there was a video showing the proper way to pinpoint
with the Ace 250.

If there is I wonder why we can't have a permanent link to it since pinpointing is a common question that
new Ace owners ask.

This system should work on all concentric coils, (not the DD design) First thing is to put a marker in the center of the forward inner toe. The true center can be made by tracing the coil on a piece of paper, cutting it out, folding it in half then placing it on top of the coil. I put on a happy face as my marker, and drew a straight line on the outer forward toe, just to help with positioning and centering. This setup works best shallow targets. For deeper targets, use this link supplied by Garrett.

She is new and probably thought you meant a video that you could buy. I call the thing on the Garrett site an animation.
