Where oh where can 4.1 be?????

Man, XP sure takes their time with the updates. I know it must be difficult to weed out the problems but c'mon already. You know that as soon as 4.1 is released in the wild there are going to be more problems and 4.1 b or c or whatever will be in the works. Give us 4.1 already. Months of trying to use that MI6 probe is becoming REALLY frustrating. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get it to either work or switch back to the coil. Fix that for now XP and work on the other stuff later, PLEASE.

I here you, I was excited to get the Mi6 and now it just sits, I’m back to the carrot. I got sick of waiting for it to reconnect, my detecting time is too valuable to sit and wait. Now my coil is also disconnecting in the middle of swinging it.

oh that's just great Fire Fighter... more issues. just what we need , eh?

I just got my m16 probe last wk. pair it with the remote, went out hunting next day, An had to repair again. Hope they get it workout, really like way it work.

I really liked the MI-6 also when it worked, but like others it just is too frustrating when you go out to detect and end up fiddling time and again with a really pricey pin-pointer. Speaking of price,I see they are going a lot cheaper on Fleabay nowadays.

While there is a delay when changing to the Mi-6 and back to the coil but it has never been 10 minutes in my experience.

Like everything in life we dont like waiting.

In general my unit has a lull of between 10 & 30 seconds but mostly about 15 seconds.

While I will be pleased when XP have it sussed out, I can get along with it using the 4.1 BETA 2 settings.

I still have a faithful carrot stick, but dont seem to use it these days.

Happy Hunting,

Jerry.

I purchased both the MI-6 and Xp deus at the same time last spring. It takes less than a second to switch back and forth. I am running the V4.0 that was installed on the Deus when it arrived. I wonder if it is the pre 4.0 versions that have all these problems for some reason. Out of hundreds of hours it only disconnected one time and I just had to restart the MI-6 and all was good again. It is terrible that people are having the problems they are having because I would never go back to any other PP, i hope it gets fixed very soon so people can see how great it works.

Most of the time it takes seconds to switch from the MI-6 to the headphones/remote ( I use the headphones and remote ). When it feels like it, it will not connect the MI-6 turns on and works fine bu the Audio connection isn't established. Other times the connection is lost when turning off the MI-6 the coil has to totally reboot, you'll get a "no coil" message flashing on the remote. I am using V4.1b and still have these issues from time to time. I have my fingers crossed for the final release, pray they fix the bugs still in V4.1b!!

I hear ya, martygene. I have been waiting also. C'mon XP!!

I bought my Deus a little bit before V4 came out I was just learning the machine and 3.2 and I was finding a lot of great things so I didn't feel a great urge to change. I saw the reports of dead coils and other glitches I was glad I waited. I am sure at some point I will upgrade but I will wait until it seems to be a finished project.

Alain at XP Deus wrote this on Dec 9th roughly translated it says 4.1 will be released in a few days and the version on his site is the final one but will be renamed as final in a few days and posted. Post is on second page near the bottom.

Re: Version 4.1(beta) pour DEUS
Messagede Alain XP » Sam 9 Déc 2017 11:30

When will be available an official update 4.1?

La version beta 4.1b que vous avez en tête de ce post est la dernière, elle fonctionne bien, nous la mettrons en ligne sur la page DEUS UPDATE dans quelques jours.
N'hésitez pas à nous remonter tout problème de fonctionnement.
Merci

That's good to hear my machine is a 2017 running 4.0 and I just picked up a MI-6 new on sale for $159.00!

Thats a good deal, it looks like Xp lowered the price on the MI-6. I bought the Deus and MI-6 together in the Spring and have not had any problems with connectivity at all, got well over 500 hours on them.
