Where is the vision in Whites Vision? Bluetooth is just to slow !

wellbelove

I am just wondering, as there is a one quater to half a second delay in the audio, when using Blutooth for audio transmission, how on earth can you use it for a metal detector, as in Whites new Vision?
There is no fun in hearing the sound, of a coin, when you have passed it by half a meter?? I have tried several Bluetooth headphones, and it is just not good/fast enough.
The new Kleer technolgy, which work pretty much like Bluetooth, is without delay and would make more sense.

Best regards
Brian

Ummm....as stated numerous times here, it does NOT use Bluetooth because of the delay problems. White's is using proprietary wireless tech for it.

So this would mean you have to use there headphones. Also since it's proprietary. You're not going to see any headphone makers "Sunray, DetectorPro" makeing them.

Correct EZ, but you can use "normal" headphones to.

There is no reason someone can't produce aftermarket WHPs. They can easily figure it out, just like they figured out how to make compatible coils. But what they will probably find is that they can't sell them any cheaper than we can sell them, and without a market differentiator there is no market. Aftermarket coils survive because, despite being the same price (or higher) than factory coils and often not as well tuned, they come in types/sizes not offered by the factory.

Proprietary hardware also provides a bit of quality control.

As stated before, there is no time delay.

OK, so it seems my question was based on lack of information ;) Thank you for correcting me. There are so many rumours out there, about all the new equipment we can buy, that you do not know what is fact, and what is fiction.
