i had the gt for about three weeks now and i think i learned the sounds of all the loose changes, i have collected about $50.00 in change, i even i know and disregard the sounds of pulltabs and caps, i hunt mostly at the wet sand where tide meets the dry sand and try to locate where all the coins gather' on certain areas it seems like someone threw lots of change at one location the coins that i find are pretty old from 70s and 80s but no gold or silver the only jewelery i found was at the dry sand a few silver rings i guess where i live here in coney island ny, area people dont wear any jewelry, with this great gt machine i'm getting coins as deep as 14'' 15'' inches, if i start playing around with the sensitivity and threshold will it make any difference, i think it is about time i start moving to different beaches even if it gets cold i will not give up untill i get my real gold jewelry. thanks for reading my long post.
