Where is the feedback of water hunters regarding NOX 600 & 800?

The one and only reason I'm interested in a NOX 800 is for fresh water hunting. I hunt for hours on end in waist + deep water. I'd like to see some serious feedback about if these units are going to stay leak free when submerged for 20+ hours a week. We all know the CTX had a bad O-Ring with its first units, and the AT-PRO had leaks in the faceplate. So will the NOX detectors hold up? The shaft wobble is the first flaw showing up, need these units underwater for hours and get some feedback coming in. Put it in your bathtub overnight lol, if your confident enough. I will report my findings eventually because mine will live its life almost exclusively in the water.

I don't own an Equinox, still waiting to see how it all pans out, but have had problems with shaft wobble on other detectors. My solution is to remove the spring button clip and to use a thin nylon bolt instead. Tighten it and no more play. I also like to shim the shafts with a layer or 2 of really thin tape.

Minelab is having people send the units in for repair. I'm concerned about a leak and the control unit being damaged.

Being that the detector has just recently started shipping and that it is only March and still cold outside, you probably won't get much feedback until more people get the detectors in their hands and warmer weather gets here.

I'd like to see more water testing or hear its leak proof also I plan on putting it in the river when its warm.i sent mine back 3 days ago over the shaft wobble, they told me to send everything incase they just wanted to send me a new machine which i thought was weird and asked about availability.told them I'd keep it if it was gonna take weeks she said absolutely not it would be a quick turn around.we will see

I'm in Michigan, I've been in two lakes so far this year, clocking about 4 hours. Cold weather and cold water don't stop a dedicated metal detectorist
