Where is the coin program in V3i?????

Hello,

Me and two our friends have bought 3 V3i machines from UK.
The one V3i has the program "Coin" in the menu (total 11), but the other two have not this.
They have only Coin & Jewerly and the others (Total 10).
Would you like to tell me what happened?
The machines are for Europe.

It's in the library. Just load it.

Hello my friend and I apologize for my English writting.
No there isn't in 2 machines the coin program.
Is there the possibility the machines to be updated V3 to V3i?????

It wouldn't matter. An updated V3 has the same software as a V3i. It is not in the list of programs, it is in the program library and you have to put it in the list. You have to use the expert menu. It was not listed as many people don't use it. It's just like the beep dig program.

Thank you.
I am a coin hunter. What is your opinion about α special regulation for C & J program.
Rx, Tx, Recovery speed etc.
And what about EMI, for which frequency offset has not good results. What do you think about Salt Compensate - ON?

If you are from Greece, the coin and jewelry program would be a lot better than the coin program which is mostly based on U.S. coins and you might still have to do some testing with the type of coins you want to find in your part of the world. The jewelry part of the program should cover most of the lost jewelry worldwide. You will have to test the program and the offset in your location to see what works best for you and you will most likely want to use Salt Compensate if you are hunting salt water beaches. The preprogrammed C&J should be fine for getting use to how the V3i works and you might have to reduce the RX a little until the unit works stable.

I strongly recommend reading the owners manual many times to gain a better understanding of how the V3i works and we have a very good search engine here on the forums to search for past posts covering a lot of questions you may have.
