When I click on his screeen name it tells me this user does not exist or has been deactivated .
Did I miss something ??????

Terri

That's a surprise to me also.I'm like you ,I must of missed something.I really enjoyed his post

That is odd... I tried as you described E-star... probably a glitch in the Matrix.

I'll bet he's been pushing buttons or something like that...

One of the last posts I saw from him he mentioned something about a prob w his computer...

??????

He said he had been banned. Personally, I hadn't kept up on some of the last posting he made, and honestly can't comment because I'm not he administrator of these forums.

I will say, however, that I haven't been :ban: and try to temper my quick-thoughts so as not to be. Providing open forums such as we have here at Findmall is done so at the desire and direction of individuals. They do post some 'cautions' and "do's & don't's" we must follow, but in the long run it's just plain commons sense to be appreciative of the opportunities provided and not say or do anything that would offend the provider/moderator of them.

Unfortunately for Mr. Tabdog, he went off the deep end the other day.

He started a smear campaign against a sponsor here at Finds, and posted it on most all the forum pages here. He then put up multiple posts, promoting an item he had. This was not good already.

A friend of his contacted Finds asking that we overlook the problem because he was having a problem. During this time Tabdog fired off derogatory notes to the moderators of a couple of Finds forums, (moderators, by the way that do it for zip). It left us no choice but to block his access to the forums.

Nothing is cast in stone here and perhaps after a bit of a rest on his part, decisions can be adjusted.

Your 100% correct. Common sense is all it takes. I doubt that there would be many problems if posters followed that thought.

Unfortunately with approximately 15,000 registered users & somewhere between 14,000,000

I read TabDogs post the other mourning and thy were very inflammatory of a sponsor and there product
I sent TD a PM saying from my view he might be digging a hole he cant get out of [ I did not want to see that ]
I hope he feels well He was always kind to me Mike G

Thank You for your reply Freddie , I honestly missed that . I knew that his
health had been an issue in the past and was genuinely concerned .
Was not my intent to open a can of worms .

I understand that type of behavior cannot be tolerated . I want to thank
you and all that make Finds a Wonderful Forum for all to enjoy :please:

Fred, most people understand that we must stay within the guide lines, rules and to support the forum sponsors.Tabdog has become a large part of this forum and has contribute a lot of information with his sense of humor.I think if Finds could reach an agreement with Tabdog it would speak volumes of integrity about the moderators and staff. This is by far the best Forum on line and I think Tabdog contributes to Finds.I consider Tabdog a friend and I hope he can make an effort to get back, because a lot of people will miss him including myself. Thanks Ron

He is a very knowledgeable person regarding Tesoro products and many other things too.

All of us will miss him. I will not judge his posts, I will not judge the forum for their actions either..

Like Mr. Freddie said..after a cooling down period, and 20/20 hindsight goes into play..All may work out.

Let this be a reminder that we can not, or should not, make rash postings offensive to our fellow members, or our sponsors.Let common sense prevail over our reactive emotions.

hello, all. i suppose i missed it all. but, knowing tabdog, a good friend and fellow hobbyist, and knowing finds forums, a great place for us to be, things will soon work themselves out. i understand things got a bit warm, and have every confidence things will turn out ok. thanks, gg

These situations are always sad. They take the air out of normally great forum. I have always enjoyed Tabdog's posts. Everyone has different ways of posting, and his was unique. I hope things can be patched up. Sometimes on computers, your thoughts are not perceived correctly by the persons on the other end. This can lead to harsh comments and situations. It's not like we can call each other up or meet face to face and discuss a comment. Things can get out of hand quickly, especially if you don't feel good, or are having a bad day. I think he was trying to help the forum by keeping someone from illegally selling, when in fact it was a legitimate sponsor. All in all, a bad result. Hope things can work out. I hate losing people who take the time to post and entertain us with their adventures (the adventures of Tabdog --- sounds like a super hero:rofl:).

I was very concerned for TD's health when I noted his absence.
Then, Echostar noted he was gone!
Today, I've read the note from NAD, and suspect it to be true.

Thank you for your excellent description, and care for him.

Mr sflblack...I enjoy Findmall's very much, yet can't imagine the associated chores involved.
I understand you must deal with problems quickly and decisively.

The Tabdog is very personable and I would consider him to be a friend.
I would appreciate any consideration you could give him, once he resolves issues that have been mentioned elsewhere.

Thank you
rmptr

Well put rmptr. I agree whole heartedly.

I have had an email from TD and he did not realize that the
poster was a sponser. He did what he thought was right and
was trying to protect us as only the tabdog would do . I too would
appreciate any consideration given to him . He is a great person and a
valuable part of this forum . Thank You for reading .

Terri

Difficult situation for sure.
His sense of humour was different and entertaining.
He was upbeat and always ready to answer your post.
Hope the moderator will reconsider letting him post in the future.
We all make unwise decision and do things that we later regret..
