Where is Silicon John these days ???/

Hi reconj,

I am still out here and reading about all the good gold they are finding at Ganes and Moore Creeks. And I thought it was all gone.

I have not been back to Ganes Creek since 2006 when we were both there. Have you been back?

Did take a trip to South America this June. While in Peru heard a lot about gold. Peru is home to one of the most ornate and impressive cathedrals in the world because of all the Incan gold. In a museum in Cuzco, a city at 12,000 feet, they had a simulated room to show the gold that the Incan ruler gave to the Spanish Conquistador, Pizarro in the 1530's. You remember the story, will let you free if you fill this room with gold up to here. I will attach a photo showing the simulated room.

Always wondered what the solid gold art work the Incans had made and given for their leaders freedom looked like. The Spanish melted down most gold art work before they sent it back to Spain. Anyway the spanish killed the Incan leader anyway. Gold does things to a man's mind. We all have to watch out for that.
