Where is okay to dig???

Hey everyone. Just ordered my at pro and the one burning question i have is where is okay to dig. I see others digging in school yards and libraries. But you can't just show up and start digging up functioning football fields can you??? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy hunting

Not if the sport is in season. Also, never hunt cemeteries. But schools, parks, and private property with permission are ok.

If you are hunting sports fields, it's always good to use a pinpointer and use s screwdriver to pop out those finds instead of digging plugs.

Out in public , keep the shovel at home. Try and use a small hand digger, better yet a screw driver. You don't want to ban detecting in your area because of a shovel. Leave the area you dug better then it was before you dug. Hope this helps . GS

Learn how to dig a U shape plug for deeper target (hand trowel) and use a screw driver for shallow targets and you be fine And yes I agree with the above leave the shovel at home and don't go into sports field. Other wise you're going to get kick out.
