Is everyone hibernating??? I got out today for a couple of hours. Took two showers. One while detecting in sweat and the other when I got home. :detecting:
 
My daughter is playing softball so that's keeping me and the wife busy but Nicholas got out yesterday morning and found what looks to be an Indian but it has a different back on it. It says 185? on it. Not sure if it is really or not. I will post a pic of it tonight and maybe some of our local experts can tell us what it is.
 
He may very well have a "fatty", a 1859 Indian Head first year of issue. They are a little thicker than later IH's and the reverse has the wreath but lacking the shield and arrows.

WooHoo for Nicholas, I bet it is a first year fatty. I've found two of those and you can can tell the year from the back for I think they only made that design one year. Too cool.

As for me, I was at that tattoo shop getting a mother/daughter tattoo along with me girl. :clapping:
 
Nancy, You got some ink??? :clapping: When you guy's were over I tried to keep mine covered up out of respect. Now I can go back to my sleeveless t-shirts. :thumbup:

Jeff, I have to ask, Was it that faint signal that you got the other day? Congrats to Nicholas on his indian!!!
