It appears with the exception of the CZ3D all CZ models have been discontinued and there have have been a bunch of models trying to make a good machine even better and to satisfy the wants and needs of the consumer
I have heard lack of parts was instrumental in Fishers decision, but on the other hand CZ6's first made in 92 are still being used so like the energizer bunny they just keep running and running and sales were down as why change if what you have works as most changes were cosmetic in nature and of course somewhere along the line digitals came upon the scene.
Although you may not be able to buy one new, still lots of good used ones around. Perhaps I am from the old school and prefer CZ's to Fisher latest models but in any case Fisher makes an excellent product.
