Where do you find gold?

If we knew the answer to that question consistently we would certainly not be posting on this forum. I found a little gold today and am celebrating with a few Budweiser's. Thus the following inebriated post. Please forgive me.

Haven't been out much lately. I'm getting' to old to swing that thing. Went to Long Beach Harbor and popped a 14K white gold woman's ring right where I was lookin'. Ten little diamonds. My diamond tester totally pegged on diamonds. It was so diamondy that I thought I was going to blow my tester. I'm lookin' for buyers. Make an offer over $150. and we'll talk. Otherwise, keep your flappin' gums shut.

Have fun,

James

Very nice ring!

Don't know about that getting too old part as I don't think we are too far apart in years ... I certainly haven't gotten as much hunting this year with all the family and work stuff. Hope to retire before too long and get into better detecting condition and pray that arthritis or other conditions don't hit too hard!!
Cheers,
tvr

I'm in my ten year plan for retiring. Hope it can happen sooner.

Yup ... that is right where I'm at! Hope you keep finding gold while working the plan and after!

I asked an avid successful prospector a question. If you lived close to and worked a good gold field daily, or lived closed to and worked a hot resort beach daily, which would likely yield the most financial success? His response, the beach.

HOW TRUE, HOW TRUE, I have been hunting gold for 10, 12 years now and find better gold at parks than gold fields.Try to get a #2 shovel to beep is a hard job, i don,t care how big you are they just don,t do it much. BUT<BUT the time i spend in gold or ( God's land )is some of the best times anyone can ever have. And with good friends.OH I might cry. Good Luck Flintstone
