i'm new to this metal tecting i have been at it for two summers i am up to 1doz rings. i dont do much in winter but think of where to go in the summer. i see the big piles of snow from the parking lots being hauled away and it hits me... there is a concetrated area where all the parking lot is pushed into one spot. to me this would be a good spot to find lost items? one other thought,, does the mxt work in snow piles? i'll let you know soon. north dakota bill

I've talked to several guys that do that and they find a lot of stuff, of course thats after the snow piles melt.
