Where do the Tesoro users hang out now?...

With only three posts here in the last week, they must be somewhere else. Anybody know?
Any place besides the official Tesoro forum, that is. I forgot my password there not long after it started, requested a reminder months ago, still waiting, so I can't use that one.

Seems the official Tesoro forum is the hotspot. The Depot Tesoro forum has more posts than this one but it don't get that many either. All three combined don't have as much traffic as Sean's old A & S Tesoro forum.

I think a couple of them are hanging in the big tree near the middle of Spring Park, and a couple of others over the (deep) side of the dam.

Seans old A&S Tesoro Forum was the greatest. Sure do miss that one...... That's actually where alot of us started on the detecting forums, when was it, back arount '97 or so ? I know that's where Jack and I got acquainted, along with Jerry (JJ-MO), Monte, Gene, and a bunch of others. I still stumble back into the archives there from time to time and read some of those old posts. They're a hoot, even now. It was like a peaceful valley compared to the turf wars going on over at TreasureNet at the time.......at least most of the time !

All of my beaches are six feet under water...just like year before last. The sunbathers were just beginning to come out, still a little cool for swimming, and we had that week of rain and the lake rose nine feet in two days.
'S Ok...I'll just ride my motor-sickle! http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/1955/motorcycletext/vlxhome.html
Don't do no trash dump divin' neither...
Maybe we need to go back to A&S and raise another crop...the last one kinda turned to seed!
See ya',

Tried, and tried and tried and it doesn't accept the Login info, even though it appears to be back up and running.

I think the forum format at the "Official" site is why it hasn't done as well as it should have. The threaded formats, such as the one here, are what we have all used for so long that it is hard to get use to anything else. All of that log on, log off, password BS is also more of a deterant than a benefit, whether your system stores it as cookies or not. The real problem though I think is that there are now so many different forums, that all the users and contributors are scattered to the wind. Every time someone gets a burr under their saddle, they run off and start a new forum of their own. Most of them poop out along the way, or never get started well in the first place.
Gary seems to be doing a great job here at Findmall of offering something for every interest, whether individual brand or model forums, or detecting in general. The trash hole almost seems to be in suspended animation these days........

Maybe we should all contact Sean and see what he thinks........

That is exactly why I'm no longer on the "official" forum. I hate fumbling around with passwords and such and, when I forgot mine and wrote for a reminder, I also let them know in no uncertain terms how I felt about passwords. I've never even had the courtesy of a reply and still don't know (or care) what my password is/was.
Removed all of their logos and product photos from my site too.
Didn't like the format anyway...too cumbersome and disjointed. No continuity and ease of use like this forum...and most others.
Think I'll just hang around here and see what happens.
See ya'
Jack
