Where do I wade after Ike?

I've been hunting a few times now since Ike blew all the sand off of the beach here in Alabama. The trough hunting is not showing the traditional targets and really kind of barren. Should I move to deeper water? Or another beach? I usually don't get any further away from the beach than about 15 feet.

Have you try ed hunting from the water line then back up about 25 ft. in a S kind of pattern?
If you hit 1 or 2 targets pay attention as to how far from the water you are and then work
up or down the beach at that distance to see if you are in the zone. There will be one somewhere
and that is what you need to look for.
