Where can I get a coil extension cable for my SE?

I was going to put the unit in a back pack and make a separate handle for the coil for field hunting...anyone know where I can get, or how I can make an extension cord
for the coil?

I'm no expert but and Extension cable might not be a good idea. It will add more resistance between the coil and the processor. This my affect your depth, sensitivity, read-outs, etc. overall function of the machine.

Ok thanks for the input
I had a sovereign and there was no negative effects on that, but obviously working with a different machine here
After doing some research I found that the wire used is just 4 conductor shielded wire with a standard 5 pin mic connector, think it might be 16 gauge wire.
If anyone else has experience with this please chime in.

Won't you also have to deal with a couple battery wires? I'm not sure how the control unit is connected to the battery. Is there a separate connector?

I used a monster brand super video cable , its a 2 conductor with braided shields, it works real good, been using it for an extension i made for my waterproof explorer. you also can get a 5 foot hip mount extension cable from minelab for around $35. 00 contact one of the findmall sponsers and they can order it fou you.
