Where Are the other P1853 Muskets? Thought Some Others Were Ordering One This Week? I'd like

to see your rifles before I ride off into the sunset (so ta speak). I'm sure lots of others here would like to see them too.

I'll post my next P1853 probably Monday (that's when it's due for delivery). After that it's back to TNet mostly (that other forum).

Anybody know of a good site covering the refinishing methods for this rifle? Just thought maybe there's a site showing the different possible methods and maybe warnings on what NOT to do.

Best car I ever owned!!!!!! It would beat 55 Chevy V-8's 0 to 60 and was ony beaten once on top end. Of course that was in 55.

This is one of my favorites. Bought it for $700 after my 18 month tour in the Pacific in 1961. My cousin wrecked in five months later,,, no insurance either
