Where are all the M6 users?

Here Frank! Had white's put mine on an Mxt type rod set up and I put an external threshold adjust on it, will take it over my mx5 most of the time.

The MX5 users are quietly making old finds with them, pretty much what I am doing. I've already said what I think about the MX5, it's a sleeper like the Classic series but with 2 tone. They have the same ability in the iron nails, just be sure to get a good ground balance over metal free ground and you are good to go.

I've had mine since March 2006, and it's the only detector I'll never part with.

I've said it hundreds of times.......one of the best all round detectors ever made and still as relevant today as it has ever been..........absolute classic.

Still have my M6 , will always keep it. Just a great detector.

I want a Whites M6. I'm keeping my eyes out for an affordable used one..... I'm in love with my Whites IDX. It so smooth and deep in my soil....is there much to gain with a M6 ?

Paul in Devon , England here, M6 is my main detector, I detect exclusively on the beach at the moment am getting lots of totally encrusted coins and dog,s ID disc,s, still waiting for gold or silver jewellery , nearest I have got to silver is a 1940 sixpence , which is 50% silver, hope to get a dfx too later. Hi Paul,
I used to use an m6 on the beaches in north devon with great success.......i had many rings using this machine.I swapped it for a beach hunter id because I wanted a detector that was fully waterproof. The m6 is one of the only single frequency detectors available that does a good job on the wet sand........stick with it and you will find that gold and silver.
All the best,neil.

I found a mint 1 year old M-6 with DX-1 probe, case, and all kinds of accessories for $450. Going to try one! I miss the MX-5 one of the funnest machines I've owned(and there's been many!)

Mine should arrive next week. Sold my old one but I just couldn't live without it, so I ordered a new one

Good to know. Mine should be here by Monday but I'm hoping for Friday!
