Here are a couple of pics for your consideration streetrod.....Victor is the manufacturer of my trap, Newhouse also built a similar trap.

My trap spring is broke close to where yours was broke.
I didn't research when victor started making these traps, but they have been at it for many--many moons.
 
What are you doing on my hill? LOL good finds wish I could have gone with you.
We will have to get together soon.
