hey there guys had just recently just bought a 10.5" big donut coil for my deleon and when i got the coil i admit i was a little skeptical how it was going to function becuase it looked like it had been through the ringer, it had a lot of scuff markings on the bottom of the coil and also i had to drill out the mount to fit with my existing hardware so that was no big deal but back to the scuffing on the coil it was really filthy so i was'nt sure how things were going to come out so i started with a soap and water which started ok and the wife grabbed the windex and said (try this) my god i could'nt believe how it was cleaning up, so if you got real grubby coil thats driving you nuts get some windex and it will make it just like new practicly again!

I'm a believer in coil covers, but one should remove them from time to time and clean any soil, sand etc. that may have gotten in. Mineralized material can cause erratic behavior.

i'm going to make one out a plastic cover from a 5 gallon plastic bucket top, i know it sounds like work but i'm cheap on some things like that and its easy to make for this coil!
