When you are alone

Though there is great benefit in Christians fellowshipping together, we have to learn how to stand on our own, because many times temptation will hit us when we are alone. As it has been said, "Character is what you are when no one is looking."

we really aren't ever alone. But I know what you mean, when another human-being isn't with us, each must handle things themself with God's help through prayer. We do what we can and then stand on faith our Lord is taking care of the situation or problem!

Once a little girl woke up in the night and was afraid of the dark and cried out to her dad and mom, and her dad said she wasn't alone that Jesus was with her! Then her reply was, Yes, I know, but "I want someone with skin upon them"! From the mouths of babes!

in my life was when I realized that I was not sinning against my wife, my family, or anyone else in my life - but I was, foremost, sinning against the Lord. And that sure has made a big difference in how I think and do things. steve

please Him, we are being kind to others and showing Jesus' loving light reflected from within our own souls! But we aren't supposed to be doormats or used as punching bags by anyone! Sometimes it is difficult to know when to be meek and when to stand firm with those who hate us because we are in Christ!
