Finished my special audit project at work, then picked up the GTI 2500/Stock 9.5" imaging Coil and headed out for another hunt for a couple of hours. I lucked out and found another musket ball, a mini and a couple of older coins. The rains came just after I walked back to my car.

That 1906 quarter is probably worth about $70.00. That should buy a couple of pounds of salsa and chips.

Below is a closeup of the coins.

Nice finds bud. Be glad when I can get back out. Don't think it's ever going to stop raining. Paid $3.10 for gas today. Boy that's going to curtail hunting.

I'll send you our $3.44 a gallon gas if you send us some of your rain, it's getting pretty dry down here. Oh BTW, that's a nice haul John.

Great find John. I never look to see how much my 1907 Canadian quarter was worth. It is the one I found at that old train station in Fl. back in January. I don't know much about grading coins. I just put them in my book.

I'd love to send you the rain and hail we had today. I didn't think gas was that cheap down there. I think my outlaws in SoCal are paying more, close to and over $4.00. Sure glad I ain't living there right now. When I left California gas was still under forty cents a gallon.

To bad they don't have gas wars anymore but since the oil companies eliminated all the competition it will never happen again. A bit of trivia for you - there are only two oil companies in this country and they own everything else - just give them different names. They are really gonna ram it to us this year and if the Yuppies pay without screaming to hard gas will be $5.00 next year. We will all have to get used to $100 fill ups, and I just bought a Grand Caravan. OUCH!
