What a fantastic day to be out.... guilt free too . No work today, chores all completed, nice weather and the look and smell of fall in the air. Here is where I hunted today.

I parked my car under a bees nest. No more bees as the several mornings of frost must have killed the hive for this year.

My second target turned out to be a 18K gold ring. In fact....the best find of the day.
<center><img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/John-Edmonton/mhunt2.jpg">
I hunted from just before noon untile about 5 o'clock, the headed home as we were going to have a weiner roast in the fire oit at home for supper.
<center><img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/John-Edmonton/token2.jpg">
I found a token which is a first for its design for my token collection, a welcomed find.

I got a total of six rings today and about $3.00 in loot. And three of those rings were gold. I sure did the dance after getting those. It's hard to get one ring sometimes.....but 6 in one day, WOW! The gold gods sure blessed me today.

Here is a closeup of the rings...

And so I headed home, and when I got there, my wife and daughter were yelling at me to come outside and look in our white birch tree in front of our house. The blue jays and magpies were all making a racket around our place. There was an owl perched in our tree, and he just posed nicely for some pics.
Just a super day!
And the Garrett Gals were there too
