Over 1,800 lb. wild pig shot and killed on Fort Stewart near Wright Army Airfield, West of I-95 and near the community Fleming.
Killed by a medical Radiology worker...What would you do if this beast was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree or simply get run over?

Yep.......only in Georgia ! Your taught to stand still because their eye sight is very poor. By standing still they probably would not see you and walk right on by. And No, you can't out run them!!
Look at how tall the grass and weeds are.How fast do you think you would be running through that?

Glad I never ran into one of these pigs while living in Georgia.

Russian boar stock I assume?

I saw a documentary on how if a large Russian boar cross has a freak in the litter (like the domestic one that gets giant and ends up in a circus) and that animals genetics get spread and become dominate, that the the result could be hogs that stand six feet at the shoulder and can run an estimated 60 mph. At that size it would require the same weapons that are used on Africa's big five. A .375 H&H. or maybe even bigger...Now that's spooky.

Awesome hogzilla by the way.

I thought I was about to get tusked by a boar in the TX woods the other day. Shook me pretty good, but nothing like that! I thought about it, and dont know what Id do without a gun.

That thing looked like a woolly mammoth, not a pig. Shooting him would just make him mad. They must have used an Abrams tank on that monster.

If it were real it would make the black bears in my woods look like stuffed animals

Not really a hoax, more an exaggeration. But does it really make any difference if it's a 781lb Boar or an 1800lb boar? They're both far to big to chase off with my Lesche.... Just need to be careful detecting in Turkey, not Georgia. :surprised:

Thats a lot of bacon!!!:yikes:
