My buddy Scott moved to Costa Rica last year and came back for a visit this weekend. What a change of weather for him. :rofl:I lent him my AT Pro and I used mt AT Gold. It's always nice to have a back-up detector for times like this.

Here's the goods from today's hunt. My bag was also full of junk. To hunt this site, we had to program both the AT Gold and AT Pro in coins mode, and still notch out some more items. Otherwise, our machines sounded like machine guns due to all the targets.

I found a belt buckle missing the center piece, only to find a center piece from a different buckle. Go figure eh!

Got a 1916 large cent, a 1951 silver dime and a coin from India???

The ring I found polished up nicely with my rotary tool and some silver polish. I believe it's bronze, as if it were copper, it would have had a lot more oxidation on it.

Got another one of these aluminum containers. They are quite collectible, and can fetch a good dollar on E bay. This is a rare one. Not too many have been found.

As I read it, you should call your detector the ATCold...it fits the environment.

Love those rare finds and the quest for information on them.

Thin gloves in the fall......it's around freezing right now, to insulated mittens when it gets to -10 or more.
