At my in-law's camp in MA this weekend (I haven't been home for a weekend for the last six or so), and was excited to continue my water hunts from July...

...and got a 1903 Barber with the Excalibur II. HOWEVER, just before dinner, I take the AT Pro in a relatively remote part of the yard. It starts screaming an 89-92 in an areas where siding was done recently. OK, what the heck. Ummm...up pops the following.

Arrrrgggghhhh - 1818, you sure pull some beautiful oldies out of the dirt, AJ!
Was the Barber a dime, quarter or half?

Oops...a dime. It was in about a foot of water and only about 2 inches in the sand/gravel mix. I was using an Excalibur II at the time. I've decided to use the Excal for the water and the AT Pro on land; however, this dime would have been screaming also.

Hi, nice finds. I have to agree with your strategy cause I use an Excal in the salt water, and a Pro mostly everywhere else. I'm not translating them into the kind of finds you've posted (at least not in the recent past), but I still love using both machines. Hope you get some more time at the camp before old man winter sets in on us. Good luck, Artie

Nice going ! So many surprises in New England, that happens often. Pulling unexpected finds from varied sites due to previous human traffic.
