[attachment 155461 DSCF4332.JPG] Hunting in mud and rain when this came in on a very unusual vid after i got down to it and it was still in the hole i saw the gold color and part of a head thought it was a gold coin. But soon found out those Canadians got me.So i stood and faced north and sent a salute to the border.Almost Tim Dude almost Larry.Oh and no offense meant Joe W. and John E.

Your right takes it's meaning from the Loon bird that inhabits the wild country up here..
We have the toonie which is designed with the Polar bear ( $2.00 coin.) on one side.
You'll see more of those soon in the USA as the dollar will be par soon and all the weekend shoppers will head
south to do there shopping:rofl:

I'm starting to see the grass in the snow:detecting:soon:clapping:

Yes it was a nice find sure fooled me when i saw it had my heart racing for a minute ,It was still covered with mud in the hole when i saw part of the color peaking though the mud.

I found a Canadian coin it has like a circle of copper in the middle i think it was Canadian. have to look for it .Canadian dollar likely to trump US greenback Need to find a toonie now.

I don't know much about Canadian coins Fred, but that last coin you mentioned sounds like a Euro I found and tim dude I think I found the same Mexican coin you mentioned in a tot lot. I thought it was gold but turned out to be a $ 1000 peso coin. Worth about $10.00 I'm told.
