a smaller coil for it would be out by the end of April or the first of May the only ones I hear about will only fit the 50 and 70 Hey Minelab Dealers is this True!!!! if so it will be on the Classifieds within the week I have emailed Minelab about this but can't seem to get a reply anyone else that owns a30 have you heard any different?

I'm also an X30 user. The end of April is also the date I've heard. What is not clear, is the frequency of that coil.If it's a 7.5kHz coil then it should be suitable.These detectors are still in they're early days and over time minelab will produce a range of coils. What that range will be is anybodies guess, but I shall your frustration at the moment!

I hope it is a DD. I have not heard whether it would be a concentric (doesn't make sense to me) or a DD. I know Minelab is busier than all heck trying to satisfy their customers right now. I bought the new 5x10 DD 18.75khz for my 70 because that should be the best coil for the beach. What I want most is a 5" coil for coin-shooting parks! I know Minelab is listening, and, the 5x10 release first makes more sense because it should be the most popular for beach hunting & gold nugget hunting. The next most popular accessory coil is probably a 5" for trashy parks. Hang on, I think it'll be here soon
