When and why use 5kHz on Kruzer Multi?

After watching some Kruzer Multi videos, it doesn't seem like there is much difference between 14kHz and 19kHz and haven't seen any where 5kHz was used. So my question is, in what situations would it be an advantage to use 5kHz vs the other two frequencies, and basically is there any reason to buy the Kruzer multi instead of the Kruzer?

On the Impact the 5kHz is better for deep high conductors, and also doesn’t bang as hard on foil and can slaw as the higher freqs.
Probably similar on the Multi Kruzer.

5kHz drains batteries a good bit faster though.

I use 5khz on my Impact all the time. It does drain batteries faster but it really likes silver at that freq. I have pulled some nice CW cuff buttons out of pounded areas in 5khz as well. I like it!!!
