Seems as there was a League of American Wheelmen and they wanted a bicycle part from coast to coast in late
1880s-90s. It was a 7 foot wide cinder path, and they want .50 cents a year dues, but some didn't want any
dues. Path was to follow the Erie Canal in Upstate NY.
There was a book put out for League of American Wheelmen (L.A.W.).
All this is very interesting.
Anyone have more information on what this is?
