Wheat's, silver, Minnie ball, and a cop!!!

I went to the demo-ed houses yesterday and after 5 targets a cop shows up. He wanted to know how I was doing. He said a neighbor called to report me around the houses. I told him I have been MD'ing for a year around these houses and never had anyone call the police on me. He wanted to talk MD'ing and told me about a city park on a hill top in a nearby town that had a lot of CW trenches. He said that would be a great place to MD. HE APOLOGIZED for interrupting my MD'ing and said have a good day. I MD'ed for another three hours and waved a friendly hi to all the neighbors.
I went to the town he told me about to get some tires for my car. Checked out that city park today and it is for real. I walked around to check it out before MD'ing. It is just a road going through the woods. Stopped by the historical society and they said the trenches was just busy work for the solders. There was no CW action in the area.

Here is yesterday's total. I hit more than one place and got a good bit of sun. It was 82 deg.
How about that old razer in the middle and when is the last time you saw a flash bulb?

Seven wheat's: 1911, 1920, 1920, 1935, 1942, 1944-s and a no date. The ground in this area was really bad. It was eating up the copper and the silver also.

Ate up silver.

Took my daughter to the swings at that old wooded park in town and found a Minnie ball and a lyre for holding music.

I also found this in the woods. It is not uncommon, but many were made in my home town and the glass plant has cosed down. If you have any old coke bottles, it probably has the name of my home town on the bottom of it.

Nice finds John. That soil must real bad to eat silver. The coke bottles I have from here usually have a CA town on them.

Nice haul, and a really nice mix. That ground is really nasty, I haven't seen silver come out that bad since some of the old drive-ins I hit back in the early '80's. Love that minnie ball, and of course the marble ices the cake.

Real nice stuff. What happened to that poor quarter?

that when I dug up cents, many times I would lose the signal. I would have to move the dirt around to get the signal back. Sometimes I would lose the signal while it was in the hole and use the pp to find it.

Every time the cops come over to me to yak, I always bring up the fact that nearly all police forces use Garretts, and I do too. It's some nice common ground to have.
